Why Join ICF?
To preserve the integrity of the coaching profession, we are actively involved in researching and developing programs in the legal, regulatory, and credentialing areas that will serve coaches and their clients. ICF also provides a vital forum for members of the coaching industry to communicate with one another. Members of ICF receive important benefits such as:

- Coach Referral Service (CRS). ICF offers coaches the option of participating in our online coach referral program. CRS will increase your visibility as a coach and will bring potential clients to you. Individuals or companies seeking assistance use ICF’s service to find the right coach. (Fee)
- The opportunity to participate in local ICF chapters. Any ICF member can choose to participate in a local chapter. Local chapters offer coaches monthly occasions to meet fellow coaches and attend programs and educational coaching events. ICF chapters are currently operating in 34 countries.
- Annual regional, national, and international conferences.
- Special Interest Groups (SIGs). SIGs offer an additional venue for coaches in similar fields to communicate best practices and new ideas. Over 27 SIGs meet once per month through teleconferencing. SIGs are open to any ICF member.
- Continuing Coaching Education (CCE). ICF offers numerous continuing education opportunities for coaches and coaches in training. CCEs are offered through our chapters and our Special Interest Groups as well as other venues. CCEs can be used to earn hours toward the earning of an ICF credential.
